Carbon Tetrachloride (CTC) is a clear, colorless, volatile liquid with a characteristic sweet odor. It is a chlorinated hydrocarbon widely used as an intermediate in the production of refrigerants and propellants for aerosol cans. Due to its excellent solvency properties, CTC is also used in chemical synthesis, cleaning applications, and laboratory processes.
